New Cheeses
We have some exciting new individually wrapped cheeses from Quebec that are sure to knock your socks off! So if you're looking for home grown - they don't come much better than this. And they're just the perfect size for your cheese platter.
There's CaBrie Le Rebelle - a soft ripened goat cheese with a washed rind, CaBrie Le Sensibile - a soft ripened brie style goat cheese; Le P'tit Saint Damase - a soft ripened cows mild ashed rind and Le Cremeux, Canadian versions of the herb and pepper French Boursin cheeses. The prize for 'Cheese of the Month' would have to go to Coeur de Brie, a creamy brie style spread. This spread is so creamy and delightful, we guarantee your taste buds will be dancing the jig over it. Perfect for canapes, it has us and many of our customers in rapture! Just to die for.
Open Saturdays!
For a limited time, Pasquale Bros will be open on Saturdays between 9am - 4pm. Starting on the 14th of November we will be opening our doors to you in the lead up to Christmas. The final Saturday being the 19th of December. Please note there will be NO deliveries made on these days. We look forward to seeing you!
Christmas Fare
The silly season is almost upon us and we are busy stocking up our shelves with all the seasonal products you love. Products like Torta - a specialty cheese made from layers of Gorgonzola and Mascarpone to create a taste sensation. Soon the famous Bonci cakes will arrive - a great alternative to a traditional Christmas pudding. Translated, 'The Drunk Cake' is soused in Vin Santo and Passito - explaining it's name. And the makers of these cakes really don't hold back! Be sure to get in quick, as we're expecting these cakes to walk (or stumble) themselves out the door. Another favouriet e're eagerly anticipating in Panforte. For those unfamiliar ith this Italian delicacy, Panforte is a traditional Italian dessert with fruit and nuts pressed into a fruitcake-like slice (but better). Panettone, another seasonal Italian specialty is a treat e're soon looking forward to indulging in, and will be available on our shelves by mid November.
A new product, not before seen on Pasquale Bros. shelves are 'Your Piece Handmade Fife Cut' Oatcakes from Scotland. These Oatcakes are made with the finest ingredients, and have no artificial colours or preservatives. Simply scrumptious!
December Open House
For the whole month of December we will have a tabel laden with goodies for our customers to sample. It would be great to see you and tempt you with our latest and greatest!
Spice it UP!
Are you getting sick of serving the same old flavours week after week. Why not use our A-Z listing of spices to generate new inspiration. As far as spices go, we've got you covered! From All Spice, Caraway seed, Garam Masala and Nutmeg to Rubbed Thyme, Sage, Rosemary and Taragon. Our wall of spices is very extensive and you're sure to find something to inspire you.
